What’s Your Worth?

Psalm 139:13-For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

Do you know your worth?

When I think about this particular verse, I feel special and you should too. If we could only see our selves the way that God sees us then we would love ourselves and others. It is true that God formed us and knitted us together when we were in our mothers womb. He made everyone of us with a particular purpose in mind. He even thought out every single day that we would have. He knows where the next years ahead will take you.

If you can believe this then you should be excited! You should feel important. You are important! Don’t let anyone ever tell you otherwise. The truth is; you are needed on this earth to live out your purpose. Everyday that we are not living out our purpose then we are wasting that day away. We are throwing diamonds into the sea each day that we do not live our lives the way He intended us to.

Mankind is depending on you to rise up everyday and live your life to the fullest. We need you to live your life with no fear! We need you to do the things that you think about doing but don’t do, and we need you to not listen to the negative thoughts and haters that are holding you back.

You have within yourself something that no one else can offer this world. There is no one else exactly like you. Every little thing about you is perfect. God did not make a mistake when he created you. Even those things that you may not like about yourself or others may not like, God likes them. As a matter of fact God often uses our short falls the most.

Maybe no one has ever told you this or maybe you have never lived your life this way. You may even have a hard time believing that you are worth much. Don’t listen to yourself or anyone else. Listen to what God says about you. He will lift you up and exalt you in due time.

You may be now be thinking that all of this sounds good and you want to start living life this way but you do not know where to start or how.

It starts with faith. Faith in what?

Faith in yourself and that you are important.

Faith that God made you for a specific purpose.

Faith that God forgives us.

Faith that God restores daily.

Faith that God is with us.

Faith that His spirit lives inside of us.

Faith that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength.

Faith that God has plans for you to prosper.

Faith that every word of the Bible is true.

Now, I could keep on going but I hope that you are starting to understand what I am saying.

Let me close this blog by challenging you to something:

I want to challenge you to leave everything that has happened in the past behind. Don’t think about it again. Consider it dead. Everything that you have done or that others have done to you, forget it.  Leave it all right here. Commit that from this day forward that you will not be held back by fear anymore. You will be grateful for each breathe that God gives you. You will be who God made you to be. You will love yourself and love others. You will read the Word of God daily and believe everything in it. You will live your life for the Glory of God.

Have a great day and God Bless.

One response to “What’s Your Worth?

  1. Such an inspiring post! And something that a lot of us go through…doubting ourselves and our reason for being here. But, even after what I went through many years ago, it took one person, my husband, to help open up my eyes and bring me back into the fold. And we’re raising our children to have faith in all they do, and stand strong against what may make them falter. Thanks for sharing this. It’s always good to read. 🙂
